The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change. - Carl Rogers
There are so many changes in our educational system..Some are fruitful but some are useless b'coz some administrators does'nt know how to change..They want corruption of mind and money not only admin but also
"some" teachers who are hungry of position in a way na marami silang na aapakang tao especially mga baguhan gaya ko... ma erelate ko lang ang naganap sa athletic meet, kahit hindi sila nanalo, gustong gusto nilag mag coach kahit hindi nila bata ito...
Sa mga baguhang gaya ko, dapat nating baguhin ang systemang ito...
“Teachers have three loves: love of learning, love of learners, and the love of bringing the first two loves together.” ― Scott Hayden
Indeed! As teachers we do really love learning and love our learners too... I just wish that all teachers will do their duties and responsibilities in teaching our students, and intill good values among themselves.
Kwentong ALS: Teacher Florinda G. Domingo
At the age of 13, she had to work to help her family. She said, "Dahil dito, nahinto ako sa pag-aaral noong ako’y first year high school. Sa edad na 16 ay nakapag-asawa naman ako."
Despite having a family of her own at a young age, she didn't stop wanting to continue her studies. So, she enrolled for a Home Study Program at New Dalton High School. Unfortunately, she didn't finish it due to responsibilities she had. She started losing hope until she met an ALS coordinator, Mrs. Lourdes Jasmin, at East Central School. Mrs. Jasmin encouraged Florinda to take ALS Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test.
In 2003, she registered for A&E but got disqualified for technical reasons. In 2004, she tried again. This time, she passed the test. "Ito na yata ang pagkakataon ko upang maipagpatuloy ang aking pag-aaral sa College at magbigay-daan sa isang mas maginhawang buhay para sa akin at sa aking pamilya," she said.
After passing the A&E test, she applied for BS Elementary Education at Nueva Vizcaya State University. Through determination, perseverance and hard work, she was able to finish her course and pass the LET.
Now, she's a licensed teacher, aspiring to be an ALS mobile teacher so that she can help other people like her.
"Gusto kong tulungang makatapos ang mga kagaya kong dahil sa hirap ng buhay ay napahinto sa pag-aaral. Salamat sa ALS! Ito ang nagbigay sa akin ng isang tanging yaman: edukasyon. Ito rin ang nagturo sa akin na magtiwala sa sarili at ipagpatuloy ang pag-abot sa pangarap sa kabila ng kahirapan," she said. #

I am a Teacher (Must watch video)
This video describes many of the positive characteristics that we see in us "teachers" when we work with our children. Teachers are inspirational and admirable in all that we bring to teaching. We want our students to learn under optimal conditions with the best of us teachers as possible. This video says thanks to us. They appreciate our dedication, skillful teaching, compassionate treatment of our children, and passion for our work.
Teachers like us inspire them in many ways. Being a teacher is an honor because teachers like us shape the future of our world through our children.
Being a Teacher is a gift... Be Thankful!!! Be Proud!!! Shout and say, I AM A TEACHER!!!

Is it possible? :Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 for teachers? mmmmm......
Comment:
Nasaan ang equal protection of the law kung sakaling teacher ang naging victim of bullying?Yan ang Philppine law kung minsan hindi isinasaalang-alang ang probisyon ng Konstitusyon/Saligang Batas.Buti pa sa Japan, teachers are well protected and supported by their existing Laws.Have a reseach on this.Philippine Teachers are not well represented in Philippine Congress. Agree?
What if we teachers are victims of bullying? what will we do? Dapat siguro kasama din tayo dito, di lang puro "child protections" we also have the right, nawawala na kasi ang respeto ng ibang studyante sa atin dahil dito..
Problems in the Philippine Educational System. :(
Issues and Problems in the Philippine Educational System: A Challenge Towards the Attainment of Quality Education
Our country has gone through many changes and development for the past few years. The continuous process made great impacts in the lives of millions of Filipinos. Relatively, the changes have given us advantages not to mention the disadvantages it brought causing downfall to many people. There are numerous questions concerning the issues and problems existing in the Philippine Educational System as to how we can resolve it the best way we could to attain that kind of quality of education we have been searching and longing for. Where do we begin and how do we respond to such?
Public schools are the building blocks of our societies. They can be considered our foundational instruments. Although these venues of learning play significant roles, they are unable to provide the best they can, due to their numerous flaws.
As I’ve gone through different readings and researches, questions were arising in my mind as to what solutions are applicable in addressing the problems about the quality of education, affordability, budget, mismatch, integration of sex education in the curriculum, R.A. 9710 (Magna Carta for Women) and other concerns which are somehow related to it. I will always stand for what I believe in according to my observations that we have good guidelines and policies on education but what is lacking is the ability to implement such in accordance to the needs of every school, majority of which belong to the public education system.
Generally, Philippine Education aims to provide quality and free education both for the elementary and secondary public schools but again this have not been observed and understood well causing it to be a burden most especially to the students and parents. Declining standards in public schools is one of the most controversial education issues today is the continuing decline in student learning.
